The first Toho Marine Elite One Man Series Tournament of 2018
February 17, 2018 – Lake Toho/Southport
The first Toho Marine Elite One Man Series Tournament of 2018 kicked off with a two-hour fog delay. The event was held Saturday, February 17th out of Southport Boat Ramp on Lake Toho. 44 anglers participated for their chance at earning some prize money and Angler of the Year points.
First Place went to John Stahl with his 5 fish limit of 19.56 lbs. Earning John a nice check for $1,535. Not far behind was Don Eady with a 5 fish limit of 18.76 lbs. (19.26 before dead fish penalty) for a $605 payday. Don just fished the B.A.S.S. Eastern Open and placed 9th back in January on Toho. Third place was secured by Bob McDaniel with 16.73 lbs. for a payout of $430. Jim Watkins (JW) brought 15.65 lbs. across the scales for a 4th place win and $210. And rounding out the top 5 with 4 fish for 13.72 lbs. was Rich Mills. Rich also had the Big Fish of the day a 7.76 pounder earning him a total payout of $510. Second Big Fish honors went to David Mahon for his 7.03 pound catch along with a check for $205.
The next One Man Tournament will be March 24th on Lake Istokpoga at the Hwy 98 ramp. If you have not yet registered, please complete the entry form and submit your yearly membership fee of $25.
