Don Eady is a retired Army Lieutenant Colonel (21 years) and former Orlando Police Officer with an insatiable affinity for Largemouth Bass Tournament fishing. On March 31, 1979 he married his wife of 40 years, Martha (Ann) Eady and they are the proud parents of three children, Nikki, DJ, and Titia and the grandparents of 6 grandchildren. Both Don and Ann are graduates of Orlando’s Oak Ridge High School and they make their home in the Orlando South Chase community. He is an avid Bass Fisherman who participates in several Central Florida and nationally affiliated tournament circuits including the TOHO Marine One Man & Pro Team Series, Xtreme Bass Series, USA Bassin, and WALMART BFL.
Don has been affiliated with TOHO Marine in Saint Cloud, FL since its establishment as a loyal customer and supporter of all TOHO Marine sponsored fishing and community focused ventures. He is a steadfast and passionate supporter of the annual “Help Our Heroes” charity event where he is directly responsible for Corporate Level contributions provided annually to assist the our military personnel and their families by contributing to the “Wounded Warrior Project”.
His most recent and significant angling accomplishments includes a 9 th place finish in the January 2018 Bass Pro Shop Eastern Open and a first place finish in the March 2016 WALMART BFL Gator Division in March of 2016 with a 26.6 pound sack anchored by the 9+ pound tournament big fish. He has been the winner of several local and highly competitive tournaments throughout Central, FL and is recognized for his demonstrated sportsmanship and good natured demeanor by his peers and friends. He is committed to his Family and is a loyal community oriented supporter!
