The first Toho Marine Elite Pro Team Trail Tournament of 2018

February 18, 2018 – Camp Mack, Lake Kissimmee

The 2018 Elite Pro Team Trail got underway Sunday, February 18th out of Camp Mack on Lake Kissimmee. 99 teams participated in this new series that is hosted by Bartow Ford and Toho Marine. Over $14,000 was paid out to the top 10 teams with an additional $990 paid out for Big Fish! This is a 100% Payback Trail with 80% paid back at each qualifying tournament and 20% held back for the Championship at the end of the year!

The Father and Son team of Austin Shroeder and Chad Shroeder dropped a mind-boggling 5 fish limit of 38.95 lbs. on the scales! This massive sack earned them over $7000 in prize money! They did have a qualifying Trophy Catch of 9.45 pounds in their limit. Second place went to the duo of William Bennion and Jeff Edgerly with 32.91 pounds that included a 9.65 Trophy Catch as well, for a payday of $2870. Third Place went to another Father and Son duo, Lance Meredith and Larry Meredith. Their 5 fish limit of 31.98 pounds included the Big Bass of the Tournament, a 12.12 pound Lake Kissimmee DONKEY, earning them $1,350 and an additional $990 for the Big Fish. Fourth Place went to Tim Burton and Terry Seagraves. They had a total of 30.43 pounds and took home a check for $970. Completing the top 5 was the team of Mark Lundgren and Santos Solis “JR” with
30.08 pounds.

There were approximately 20 fish weighed in that qualified for the Florida Trophy Catch! Trophy Catch entries not only earn anglers additional prizes but also a chance to win the Trophy Catch Phoenix Bass Boat that is given away every year!

The next Elite Pro Team Trail is April 28th out of Camp Mack. If you are interested in participating in future tournaments, visit and select the tournament link for more information and to register. Registrations accepted in store and at the ramp as well. Payment must be received prior to 5pm on the Thursday prior to the Tournament or the team will incur a $50 Late Fee to register. If mailing your entry allow at least a week as “snail mail” can cause some delays in Toho Marine receiving your registration!

There will be a Team Championship Late October on Lake Okeechobee for those teams that fish 3 out of 4 tournaments. In addition to the Championship Payout all of the teams will have a chance at winning a Phoenix 819, a Ford F150, or $15,000! These prizes will be based on “Mystery Weights” that will be selected prior to the Championship! For more specifics please see the Tournament Website.
